The Institute for Training of Personnel in International Organizations (ITPIO) is a private non-profit organization – NGO with the status of Association, established in 2010.
Members of ITPIO are practically representatives of key stakeholders in the field of education – 5 leading Bulgarian universities and colleges, the most powerful trade union in Bulgaria, national employers’ association, local and regional authorities, 7 SMEs, 3 adult education providers, 7 centers for vocational training, 11 NGOs active in the education and youth fields including 2 Youth associations, 2 regional departments of education, many schools, school teachers’ associations and individuals – prominent experts in education, training, employment, economic and academic spheres.
The main activities of ITPIO cover all educational sectors – general, vocational and higher education. All are focused on improvement of the training quality and ensuring competitiveness of graduates on the labour market. ITPIO is also engaged in research activities and analyses, consulting of educational, employment and youth policies and practices on national, regional and local level, elaboration of strategic documents, concerning education, training and youth, organization of trainings, discussion forums aimed at improving the relations among national, regional, local authorities and the non-governmental sector, while following the modern trends in civic society development.
